Project Timebook 0.6.0, Linux (x86_64)
Lee Wyatt Corp

WHAT IT IS
Project Timebook records what you actually worked on, minute by minute: which program was in
front of you, which document, which tab. At the end of the day you look at a real timeline
and drag it into projects. You never start or stop a timer.

INSTALL
    ./install.sh
Or just run ./project-timebook where it sits.

WHERE YOUR DAY IS KEPT
    ~/.local/share/ProjectTimebook
The app name, the window title and the program path are encrypted with AES-256 on this
machine. Captured activity is never uploaded. WyConnect only verifies a trial or a
permanent license; it never receives captured activity.

WHAT IT DOES
Timeline your real day, as tall as it lasted, with your meetings beside it
Insights where the time went, how fragmented the day was, your longest focus
Projects projects and tasks; teach it an app and it files that time itself
Reports any range of days, grouped and rounded how you bill, exported as CSV
Calendar import an .ics from Outlook or Google, off your disk, offline
Appearance dark, light, follow the system, or your own colours
Privacy per app rules: full, app name only, or never recorded at all
Client Brief optional GPT-5.6 draft from a previewed list of filed project/task/duration

CLIENT BRIEF
Client Brief is off until you add your own OpenAI API key and press Generate. Before it sends
anything, Project Timebook shows the exact preview: only already-filed project names, task names and
durations. It never sends app names, window titles, executable paths, calendar events, or
unfiled captured activity. API use may use your own OpenAI API balance.

LICENSE AND TRIAL
Sign in with WyConnect to start the free trial. Trial verification needs an internet
connection. After purchase, the permanent license is linked to that account and remains
usable offline on this computer. You never need a manual license key.

THE PRIVACY RULE THAT MATTERS
An app set to "Never record" is never written down. Not the title, not the app name, not
a row. It is enforced before anything reaches the database, and turning it on erases what
was already there.

REQUIRES
An X11 session (X11, or Wayland with XWayland, which is the default nearly everywhere).
